How to write an essay for SSC CGL Tier-3

First of all we must understand the purpose of writing essays. The purpose of writing essays is to communicate our ideas or thoughts about given topic, to the reader. And in communication main focus should be that whether the receiver is getting what we are trying to convey, and not on grammar. I don't mean to say that you should write essays which are grammatically incorrect but main focus should be to convey the idea. If you can do this being grammatically correct, that is icing on the cake.
Some important points to keep in mind while writing an essay are:
CHOICE OF TOPIC:
So if you want to convey your ideas about a topic to someone, that is possible only if you know about that topic well, then only you will have logically convincing and well arranged thoughts. So choose that topic only about which you are well informed.
After choosing the topic don't start writing immediately. First you should frame a structure in your mind and if word limit is to be adhered to, whether it is low or high, then this becomes very important. So a general structure is given below, which will be helpful in writing both kind of essays, short and lengthy.
STRUCTURE OF ESSAY:
Introduction:
In this section of eassay, obeviously, we introduce our thoughts about the given topic. But you can make this section attention grabbing then half the job is done, as first impression is the last impression. And you can do that by many ways like supporting yourself with an important but rarely known fact, starting with a relevant quote from a famous person, giving relevant example from history or from any fresh incident from society etc.
Now is the turn of the body of the essay, which can further be divided into three parts for better structuring your thoughts. I will be explaining them one by one.
Causes / Needs:
If the topic you chose is a negative thing then write the causes of that and if it is positive step then write the need of that step.
Effects:
In this section you write the effects of the problem or positive step on each aspect of human life, if it is a topic of such kind. Don't keep your mind till just few areas of topic. To have a completeness in your essay you must cover the effect on all aspects like society, education, sports, economy of nation, politics, defence etc.
Solutions:
If you are writing about a problem than you should give practical solution if you can, remember practical solution, because impractical solutions may irritate your reader. If yo are writing about a positive step then write about improvement which are possible in that direction.
Conclusion:
Last, but not the least, as this will be your last interaction with reader, so this paragraph if planned can leave a positive and strong impact on your reader. So in this you must write your final perspective about the topic but supported by a strong point with example, if possible.
